ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Creative, proactive and curious in financial improvements
• Reporting directly to owner to manage and improve our organization's financial performance and direct our accounting operations
• Lead and oversee the day-to-day management of all aspects of operational accounting and functions: AP, AR, Tax
• Reporting, Payroll
• Cash Management, Compliance, and Risk Management
• Timely financial reporting
• Collaborate with department heads to drive budgeting initiatives
• Lead the Annual Budgeting and Planning Process
• Lead Accounting Team
• Seek process improvements to drive expense savings and to improve the accuracy & timeliness of financial close
• Establish, maintain and document internal accounting controls and procedures

EXPECTATIONS

• Exceptional managerial skills including staff management, development, coaching, delegation and multitasking
• Strong communication, interpersonal & management skills
• Experience with operational aspects of accounting and tax reporting
• Ability to work across the organization at a high level, interacting with top leaders of operating and support units
• Ability to work independently and prioritize workload
• Strong computer skills
• Self-starter who exemplifies a propensity to take initiative

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's (Preferred)
